Psych Ed Talk: Teaching in a Polarized World (Vendor Webinar)
February 26 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am
When topics are politically charged, students often disengage or defensively filter evidence. This session offers a research-informed approach to teaching under these conditions. Participants will see how imagined worlds—alien ecologies, dystopian societies, interplanetary crises—can lower threat and let students practice reasoning before applying those skills to real contemporary debates. Concrete classroom activities will be shared.
Special Note: This event is hosted by McGraw-Hill. However, you do not need to use the McGraw-Hill textbook and instead attend for exploration.
