SUMMARY:Education\, Rehumanized: Teaching\, Assessment\, and AI with Purpose (Vendor Webinar)
DESCRIPTION:What if education prioritized people before performance—Because You Matter? \n\n\n\nThis webinar invites educators and academic leaders to reimagine teaching\, assessment\, and AI through a human-centered lens. Grounded in the framework of Radical Belonging\, we’ll explore how psychological safety\, competence\, relatedness\, and autonomy create learning environments where students and faculty can truly thrive. \n\n\n\nParticipants will examine the power of “Real Talk” pedagogy\, the limits of rigor without relationship\, and how to use AI intentionally leveraging technology for efficiency while protecting the slow\, relational work only humans can do. We’ll also explore approaches to assessment that prioritize growth\, support\, and student voice over compliance and surveillance. \n\n\n\nDesigned for those leading classrooms\, programs\, or institutions\, this session offers practical insight for building learning systems that are inclusive\, resilient\, and deeply human. \n\n\n\nBecause when people feel they matter\, learning changes—and so does everything else. \n\n\n\nRegister for this event \n\n\n\nSpecial Note: This event is hosted by McGraw-Hill. However\, you do not need to use the McGraw-Hill textbook and instead attend for exploration.

SUMMARY:AI Hallucinations Unmasked: Teaching Students to Detect Errors and Think Critically (Vendor Webinar)
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence is changing how accounting is taught\, but the most effective instruction still depends on time-tested principles. In today’s AI world\, students need accounting principles to separate sound answers from confident fiction. If students can’t explain AI output\, they can’t verify it. We must help students move from “asking AI” to “checking AI.” \n\n\n\nIn this session\, authors John J. Wild and Jonathan Wild share practical “AI Error Detection” activities that help students strengthen core skills while sharpening their skepticism and judgment. We will see real\, introductory-level examples of where AI can go wrong\, along with questions that help students catch errors. We will present scenarios where students can review AI responses against core concepts\, including autograding options designed for principles-level and introductory financial and managerial accounting. \n\n\n\nThis approach shows how AI can be a helpful partner when it is used to reinforce\, not replace\, accounting knowledge. Attend to help students use AI thoughtfully and ethically while staying anchored in the essential principles of accounting. Walk away with plug-and-play materials we can assign immediately. \n\n\n\nRegister for this event \n\n\n\nSpecial Note: This event is hosted by McGraw-Hill. However\, you do not need to use the McGraw-Hill textbook and instead attend for exploration.

SUMMARY:Beyond the AI Tool: Connecting Technical Expertise with Disciplinary Practice (Vendor Webinar)
DESCRIPTION:As higher education moves beyond the initial surge of AI uncertainty\, attention is shifting toward concrete\, sustainable implementation. Institutions are discovering that broad\, one-size-fits-all approaches fall short\, particularly when they ignore disciplinary context\, diverse pedagogical practices\, and the realities of classroom-level decision- making. At the same time\, uneven AI adoption can widen equity gaps for students and create inconsistent expectations for faculty support. \n\n\n\nThis webinar focuses on moving from strategy to execution. We introduce a practical taxonomy that distinguishes between AI-embedded courses\, where AI is integral to learning outcomes\, and AI- supported courses\, where AI functions as a learning support. Participants will explore key design considerations for developing an institutional integration framework\, including alignment to curriculum\, assessment\, academic integrity\, accessibility\, and adaptability. The webinar also highlights strategies for connecting institutional edtech and IT decision-makers with disciplinary experts and instructors\, creating critical “bridge roles” and collaborative structures required for successful\, scalable AI implementation. \n\n\n\nLearning Outcomes: \n\n\n\n\nDescribe how a “bridge role” collaboration model pairs subject matter expertise with AI/IT expertise.\n\n\n\n\n\nDistinguish between AI-embedded and AI-supported course designs using a practical taxonomy approach.\n\n\n\n\n\nIdentify limitations of blanket AI policies and ad hoc adoption\, including risks to equity and support.\n\n\n\n\n\nExplore key elements of an institutional AI integration framework.\n\n\n\n\nRegister for this Event \n\n\n\nSpecial Note: This webinar is hosted by Educause and is free to members.
