DESCRIPTION:For a long time\, community colleges have been on the forefront of innovation when it comes to developing programs that support the needs of local and regional employers. \n\n\n\nToday\, however\, these higher-ed institutions face a challenging environment: Shifts in the economy are becoming more unpredictable\, roles and functions in the job market are transforming more quickly\, and graduates are needing to acquire and develop new skills to better transition into a fluctuating work force. \n\n\n\nIn this upcoming virtual forum\, a panel of experts will discuss how community colleges are adapting to a new environment\, what promising work-force programs are being created\, and what it will take to scale those.
